Wendy is Senior Director, Data Centre and Virtualisation for EMEAR and leads a team who are responsible for leading Cisco’s ability to innovate and maintain technical leadership within our customers and the market. She works with Cisco’s customers to help them to understand how Cisco’s data centre strategy can be applied in their environment to benefit their business. Wendy communicates Cisco’s vision into the marketplace through a number of forums and speaking engagements.

Wendy joined Cisco in 2008 from ThruPoint, where she held the position of Global CTO, working with enterprise and service provider clients across the globe with specific responsibility for the ongoing development of the company’s services portfolio. Prior to joining ThruPoint in 1996, Wendy worked for Morgan Stanley on a series of major technology initiatives in Europe, the U.S and Asia.

Wendy has developed a number of trusted executive-level relationships within key clients in the enterprise and SP space and has operated regularly as a key note speaker at a number of IT industry events.

Wendy holds a BEng(H) in Electronic Engineering form York University and an MSc in Operational Research from Lancaster University.
